Earth Day Bali 2026

In celebration of Earth Day, Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud proudly hosted a meaningful tree planting initiative as part of its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community well-being. Carrying the spirit of “Growing a Greener Future,” this activity reflects the resort’s dedication to creating a positive impact beyond hospitality.

The initiative was held at Br. Bukit Jangkrik, Samplangan, Gianyar on 22 April 2026 bringing together a collective effort from industry partners and local stakeholders. Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud collaborated with esteemed organizations including Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Gianyar, Ubud Hotels Association, Indonesian Hotel General Manager Association, PHRI Indonesia, and Eco Tourism Bali. The initiative was further supported by hospitality partners such as Seres Springs Resort & Spa, SENS Hotel & Spa, and The Hava.

The tree planting activity was warmly embraced by the local community, whose participation played a vital role in planting trees across the village area. This collaborative effort highlights the importance of unity in preserving Bali’s natural environment for future generations.

Adding to the meaningful experience, in-house guests of Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud were also invited to join the initiative. Their participation not only enriched their stay but also allowed them to connect more deeply with the local culture and contribute directly to a sustainable cause.

Sekretaris Daerah (Regional Secretary) of Gianyar Regency, I Gusti Bagus Adi Widya Utama, S.IP., M.Si., expressed his appreciation, stating:

“We highly appreciate all parties who have participated in this tree planting activity to support environmental preservation. Thank you to everyone, including our partners and the hotel industry, who have contributed to and supported this initiative.”

“At Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud, we believe that true hospitality extends beyond guest experiences - it also embraces responsibility towards nature and the community,” said Endy Hermawan, General Manager of Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud. “Through this Earth Day initiative, we aim to inspire collective action and raise awareness about the importance of environmental preservation.”

This initiative is part of Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud's broader sustainability program, integrating eco-conscious practices, cultural preservation, and community engagement into its daily operations and guest experiences.
